Reburial

COBDO Ceremony and Protest for the Reburial of the Ancient Dead - 30th January 2007

The Alexander Keiller Museum at Avebury stores and displays the skeletal remains and grave goods of our ancestors excavated from around the Avebury complex.

It is the policy of the Council of British Druid Orders that the sacred remains of our brothers and sisters should be returned to the living landscape from which they were taken.

It is time to make whole this wounded earth.
It is time to heal the hurt that we have suffered.
It is time to reclaim our culture and celebrate ourselves.
