It is our custom to celebrate the solar quarter-festivals (the solstices and equinoxes) as accurately as is convenient, and to allow latitude in the timing of the lunar, cross-quarter festivals (Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnassadh and Samhuinn) in order to synchronise our celebrations with those of others.
